Uses and Potential Benefits

  • Key Essential Oils in this product supported by Evidence

  • Lavender: The most heavily researched oil for arthritis. Clinical studies show that topical massage with a 5% lavender mixture significantly reduces musculoskeletal and osteoarthritis knee pain within one week. [1, 2, 3, 4]

  • Eucalyptus: Proven to alleviate acute pain. In a 2013 clinical trial, patients who inhaled eucalyptus oil at regular intervals after total knee replacement surgery reported significantly lower pain levels and decreased blood pressure. [1, 2, 3]

  • Ginger: Contains strong anti-inflammatory compounds. A clinical study found that patients with chronic knee issues experienced a major reduction in pain and stiffness, alongside improved physical function, after regular ginger oil massages. [1, 2]

  • Frankincense & Myrrh: Medical reviews highlight that frankincense acids contain explicit anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Animal models show that combining frankincense and myrrh significantly suppresses joint inflammation by inhibiting specific pain pathways. [1, 2, 3]

  • Turmeric: Highly potent in laboratory settings. Animal research published on PubMed Central (PMC) demonstrated that turmeric essential oil is between 95% and 100% effective at preventing joint swelling during acute inflammation phases. [1, 2]

  • Rosemary & Peppermint: A study featured on PMC found that a combination nanoemulsion of these two oils directly reduces mechanical and thermal sensitivity while improving the biological health of the joint. [1]
